About us
Northern Properties is a short-term vacation rental management company that has been in business since 1991.
We have Drummond Island’s largest selection of seasonal and year-round homes located all across the island. Our homes range from luxurious waterfront homes accommodating up to 12 guests, to 1 and 2-bedroom cabins perfect for couples or small families. Many of our homes have hot tubs, fireplaces, docks, and spectacular waterfront views. With nearly 40 homes to choose from, we’re confident we have a vacation rental home that will suit your needs! Meet the owners
Amy Bernhard has 20 years of real estate and property management experience, which allows her to help make the new home onboarding and guest rental process stress-free.
Co-owner Karen Schwalm has nearly 20 years of advertising and marketing experience, which helps her introduce the magic of Drummond Island to others.
Karen and Amy have been visiting and calling Drummond Island home for 35 years.
