Welcome to Camp Vava!

Thoughtfully designed and built as a family "camp" in 2007, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home + bunkhouse sleeps 10 (12 with futon). With 220' of shoreline and a dock on pristine Whitney Bay, the main house sleeps 4 (6 with futon) and the summer bunk house sleeps 6. Fun signs with photos of happy campers are posted along the tree-lined drive leading to this ideal family retreat location.

The main house is light and bright with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, lots of comfy rugs and furniture, custom artwork and a cozy wood stove. The bunk house is cool and comfortable with two bunk beds (full beds on the bottom and twin beds on top), a Smart TV, and an outdoor shower.

Kids and furry friends alike will love the large yard, dock and swim area, while adults enjoy a cup or hot coffee or a cold beverage on the four-season porch, screened porch, dock platform or around one of two fire pit areas. "Kids" of all ages can explore the shoreline by kayak (4) or paddle board (3), or relax on an inflatable float. In the evenings, grilling is easy on the new Blackstone Griddle!

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 14 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 7 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.

Service Fees: A one-time cleaning fee is added to the cost of all rentals. The cleaning fee will be line-listed in the breakdown of costs when you make your reservation and is also posted on each home's webpage. Cleaning fees are subject to tax.

Some of our homes are pet-friendly and will allow 1 or 2 dogs within the home. If you would like to bring your dog(s) to a pet-friendly home, a fee of $50 per pet will be added to the total rental rate and will be line-listed in the breakdown of costs when you make your reservation. Pet fees are subject to tax.

Cancelation Policy: Cancelations made 30 days or more prior to arrival with written notice shall be given a full refund minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancelations of less than 30 days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and sales tax unless Northern Properties is able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation, minus a $50.00 cancelation fee. You commit to your dates at the time of booking, there is no refund for early departure, refusal to occupy upon arrival, or no-shows. All refunds are processed at the end of each month. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, you will not receive a refund until after your canceled dates have passed.

Rules

All of our homes are non-smoking.

Pets are strictly prohibited in homes that are not listed as pet friendly. This limitation extends to any visitors you may have to the property during your stay.

All vehicles are to be kept within the designated parking areas at the home. Failure to keep vehicles and trailers off restricted areas that result in damages to lawns, septic drain fields, etc. will be the guest’s responsibility to repair.

If you will be bringing trailers or will have multiple vehicles at the home, please make sure the rental home has adequate parking to accommodate your group prior to booking.

Water levels can fluctuate, which can affect docks. If you have concerns that a dock may not work for your boat, please call prior to bringing your boat. We cannot give refunds if a dock space is not adequate for your boat, or if the water levels affect a dock’s usability.

Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during this time.

Campers and tents are not allowed at the homes.

No parties and/or exceeding the number of guests the home allows.

Absolutely no fireworks allowed.

Target practice, hunting, or the firing of guns, bows, or other weapons is strictly prohibited on all of our rental properties.
