The home is custom-built, and they didn't leave out any details! There are vaulted ceilings with exposed posts and beams, hardwood floors throughout, and an open floor plan with large windows offering breathtaking views of Lake Huron.
There is a free-standing gas fireplace between the family room and dining area to enjoy on those cooler evenings, and the home is tastefully decorated with all-new furnishings for ultimate comfort. You won't be lacking in dining space with a large expandable table inside and three picnic tables outside. Two of the tables are located on the small patio at the entrance to the home and can convert from single benches into full-size tables, perfect for grilling or outdoor picnics!
This home sits on over an acre of private land, with trees all around offering you plenty of privacy. There is a dock with a ladder for ease of getting in and out of the water as well as great water depth. There are also two kayaks and a canoe that you can use to explore the protected bay right off the home's shoreline. Standard life vests are provided and must be worn when enjoying water toys.
Although the shoreline is rocky, it is very swimmable (water shoes are recommended).
There is one bedroom on the main level with a Queen bed and another Queen bed upstairs in the open loft. Wake up with spectacular views right from your bed. Also included is a pull-out sleeper sofa in the family room.
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the one for you! It is definitely one "Sweet Spot" you will want to come back to again and again!

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 14 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 7 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.

Service Fees: A one-time cleaning fee is added to the cost of all rentals. The cleaning fee will be line-listed in the breakdown of costs when you make your reservation and is also posted on each home's webpage. Cleaning fees are subject to tax.
Some of our homes are pet-friendly and will allow 1 or 2 dogs within the home. If you would like to bring your dog(s) to a pet-friendly home, a fee of $50 per pet will be added to the total rental rate and will be line-listed in the breakdown of costs when you make your reservation. Pet fees are subject to tax.

Cancelation Policy: Cancelations made 30 days or more prior to arrival with written notice shall be given a full refund minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancelations of less than 30 days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and sales tax unless Northern Properties is able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation, minus a $50.00 cancelation fee. You commit to your dates at the time of booking, there is no refund for early departure, refusal to occupy upon arrival, or no-shows. All refunds are processed at the end of each month. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, you will not receive a refund until after your canceled dates have passed.

Rules
All of our homes are non-smoking.
Pets are strictly prohibited in homes that are not listed as pet friendly. This limitation extends to any visitors you may have to the property during your stay.
All vehicles are to be kept within the designated parking areas at the home. Failure to keep vehicles and trailers off restricted areas that result in damages to lawns, septic drain fields, etc. will be the guest’s responsibility to repair.
If you will be bringing trailers or will have multiple vehicles at the home, please make sure the rental home has adequate parking to accommodate your group prior to booking.
Water levels can fluctuate, which can affect docks. If you have concerns that a dock may not work for your boat, please call prior to bringing your boat. We cannot give refunds if a dock space is not adequate for your boat, or if the water levels affect a dock’s usability.
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during this time.
Campers and tents are not allowed at the homes.
No parties and/or exceeding the number of guests the home allows.
Absolutely no fireworks allowed.
Target practice, hunting, or the firing of guns, bows, or other weapons is strictly prohibited on all of our rental properties.
