Little Bear Lodge on Drummond Island

This 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom home has 2300 square feet of living space and accommodates up to 12 people. A large covered porch welcomes you into the kitchen and dining area. The living room with cathedral ceiling overlooks gorgeous Sturgeon Bay in Lake Huron, and the partially covered deck is perfect for relaxing, grilling and sunset viewing.

Located on the North side of the island off of M-134 between the ferry and the four corners, this home is great for boating and is close to shopping, dining and entertainment.

Little Bear Lodge is beautifully furnished. The living room has a stone wood-burning fireplace with built-in padded benches on each side where you can relax with a book. At the top of the stairs, there is a spacious lounge area that overlooks the living room and has a bumper pool table and a flat-screen TV.

A canoe and two paddles are included with the home. Use canoe at your own risk.

NOTE: The garage is not included. There is a limit of 6 vehicles in the driveway (trailers count as a vehicle). Additional vehicles and/or trailers can be parked at Northern Properties with permission. The Drummond Island Tourism Association at the four corners also allows overnight parking.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 14 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 7 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.

Service Fees: A one-time cleaning fee is added to the cost of all rentals. The cleaning fee will be line-listed in the breakdown of costs when you make your reservation and is also posted on each home's webpage. Cleaning fees are subject to tax.

Some of our homes are pet-friendly and will allow 1 or 2 dogs within the home. If you would like to bring your dog(s) to a pet-friendly home, a fee of $50 per pet will be added to the total rental rate and will be line-listed in the breakdown of costs when you make your reservation. Pet fees are subject to tax.

Cancelation Policy: Cancelations made 30 days or more prior to arrival with written notice shall be given a full refund minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancelations of less than 30 days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and sales tax unless Northern Properties is able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation, minus a $50.00 cancelation fee. You commit to your dates at the time of booking, there is no refund for early departure, refusal to occupy upon arrival, or no-shows. All refunds are processed at the end of each month. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, you will not receive a refund until after your canceled dates have passed.

Rules

All of our homes are non-smoking.

Pets are strictly prohibited in homes that are not listed as pet friendly. This limitation extends to any visitors you may have to the property during your stay.

All vehicles are to be kept within the designated parking areas at the home. Failure to keep vehicles and trailers off restricted areas that result in damages to lawns, septic drain fields, etc. will be the guest’s responsibility to repair.

If you will be bringing trailers or will have multiple vehicles at the home, please make sure the rental home has adequate parking to accommodate your group prior to booking.

Water levels can fluctuate, which can affect docks. If you have concerns that a dock may not work for your boat, please call prior to bringing your boat. We cannot give refunds if a dock space is not adequate for your boat, or if the water levels affect a dock’s usability.

Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during this time.

Campers and tents are not allowed at the homes.

No parties and/or exceeding the number of guests the home allows.

Absolutely no fireworks allowed.

Target practice, hunting, or the firing of guns, bows, or other weapons is strictly prohibited on all of our rental properties.
